AMO (Asia) 2026 Registration Closes 28 August at 5 PM

Registration for the AMO (Asia Mathematics Olympics) 2026 Preliminary Round is closing soon. Families who would like their child to take part must complete registration by Friday 28 August 2026 at 5:00 PM (New Zealand time).

AMO gives students an opportunity to go beyond routine classroom mathematics and practise logical reasoning, pattern recognition and creative problem-solving in an international competition setting.

Why Take Part in AMO?

AMO is suitable for students who enjoy mathematical challenges, puzzles and problem-solving. The competition encourages careful thinking, flexible strategies and persistence, helping students build confidence when approaching unfamiliar questions.

Students do not need extensive Olympiad experience to participate. The Preliminary Round is an accessible starting point for mathematically curious learners who would like to challenge themselves and gain international competition experience.

Before You Register

Please have the student's details, contact information and payment evidence ready. Registration is only complete once the online form has been submitted. As the deadline is close, we recommend registering early rather than waiting until the final afternoon.
